Photo galleries: Shetland
Jon first visited Shetland in 1992, and was inspired to move there in 2003. One of Britain's great wild places, it stands at a migration crossroads for countless thousands of birds every year, hosts over a million breeding seabirds each summer, and being close to the continental shelf is one of the best locations in Europe in which to see cetaceans.
These are just a few of the many images Jon has taken in Shetland. It's a place that never fails to deliver memorable encounters with wildlife, nor to inspire.
